Never ending mode.
Would be awesome if there was some kind of "Never Ending Mode" that would be implemented into the game.

Would be super simple from what i understand. Basically, exactly the same functionality as the war room, except it doesn't stop when you kill 340 soldiers, it only stops once you die.

Maybe even there could be prizes added in, so if you get to certain marks in never ending, you get cool little prizes. Stuff like dogs and bears and presents and oni hearts.

Some of the prizes could be earned multiple times, so, every time you kill 1000 soldiers, you get one bear or one dog or one present, but then have a super high number like 3 or 4 thousand troops, and if you get it, you get a one time item. Something like a special mask or trinket.

Maybe even it could just be a crappy outfit.

This would also be open to future expansion also, adding enemy types. Infinite zombie hordes, infinite foxes, infinite oni or cultists.

Then we could even have leaderboards for who got the highest scores.

Just realized Darknewton made basically the exact suggestion in fewer words years ago. I second his suggestion!

I want to add a possible target expansion. Bandits without weapons running around in fear while you cut them down. Maybe even suddle screaming in the background. They get dropped in from above and try to run to the sides out of the screen where they pick up weapons and come back. Every now and then a unarmed boss drops in.
The emphazise lies on the unarmed killing tho. Just in case you are worried.
The background would be a new stage that looks like a improvised camp. After the end of your run on the points count the stage changes to a burning, plundered (maybe even animated plundering NPC soldiers in the distance) and corpse riddled, now destroyed camp.
The points would be gained differently to the main mode. It doesn't count the total kills. Instead, every boss doesn't get killed but get knocked out after defeating them and then will be taken prisoner by your soldiers (your clan, if you are not in a clan the story mode brown guys). At the end screen the prisoners will be lined up surrounded by your clans heavy armor soldiers with clan masks. The women will not be violated or sold into slavery, i'm not a monster. They will just, like the men, enter the screen in a line and will be executed (i do not grant them the honor of sepukku). To speed up the process maybe 3 at a time. They get decapitated by you and 2 guys (in Bmaw and Graywolf both with clan mask). As you can think every execute is 1 point, duh.

That would be cool for the future but sounds like it's own sort of project and feature as opposed to just a small addition to shake things up a bit.

That's mostly something i was going for. Just something little that the devs could do with mostly existing codes and process, just a few minor edits to record some numbers and extend it until you die.

I would go with increasing enemy levels with each wave, like how it happens in the war room.

Would be cool to remove the level cap, and let the ai improve relentlessly, but it could work just as capping out wherever the war room caps out and then just continuing into infinity.

It would be cool if there was a warning displayed to the players of the clan defeated so that they could come save the people at the last minute.

So anticlimactic and we would be like ARRRRRGHHHHHHHHHH ERMAGERD

I planed to do bandits. Bandits are lawless criminals who don't have the honor to save their compared.

Yeah, this is a pretty neat idea. Pretty much the best thing to kill time in the game nowadays. Truthfully, I don't think I can add anything to this idea.
Just maybe, add an option to decide what enemies you want to raid, or maybe make different enemies when you kill a certain number.

Maybe we could also have different leaderboards for stances. Obviously light would be the most powerful stance to use in this case, so having separate leaderboards for balanced and heavy could show a curve of players. Top list in each stance.
